Victory! Tigers 35, Miners 20

Believe it or not the Tigers won a game! I was way off on my prediction for this one. Turns out that having a healthy running back can really change things for you. Especially when it is Curtis Steele and he runs for 240 yards and two TDs and catches another TD as well. Super Tiger and sixth year senior quarterback Will Hudgens did pretty good too in a job that he maybe should have had a long time ago. It was cold outside, but we still had fun tailgating with our previously mentioned chili and beer. Drew was keeping busy being a lion that made no noise, as you can see in his picture below. Sarah was lucky enough to have her picture made with Jerry "The King" Lawler on our way to the game as he was there campaigning for mayor. She was pretty excited even though she doesn't live in Memphis and won't be able to actually vote. Only two more home games left for the season. Looks like Coach West will at least keep his job through the end of the season now, but it will take a huge effort in the second half of the season for him to be back next season. Next up is Southern Miss in Hattiesburg at perhaps the worst stadium in the country. Based on our last trip there, which consisted of rain, GI problems, having to actually travel into the state of Mississippi, and numerous other issues we encountered, there will be no road trip to this game for us.
