Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog! If you haven't been able to get enough of the Yaun's on Facebook or MySpace, or even perhaps in person, we now have a new way to keep up with the world. Katie has been wanting to create one for a long time now, but she never would so I, Jason, decided to have a go at it. Also, Katie is a known blog-stalker in her spare time, so it is only fair that she have one for others to peruse. Hopefully this will be a place to post the happenings in our lives, with pictures and descriptions of all, with some discussions on art, literature, music, politics, and religion thrown in for good measure every once in a while.

We have been living out in Arlington, TN, for almost a year and a half now. For introductions, Jason is beginning his fourth year of medical school and preparing to apply for "the match." Katie is working four days a week at Accredo/Medco/NovaFactor doing something that would take forever to describe and then you still may not understand. I am not sure exactly what she does myself. Both of us are full time parents to our 18 month old son, Drew. He is an amazing child who never tires of running around and keeping his parents busy. And I can't forget Bella, our 2 year old miniature schnauzer.

Now, our blog isn't titled Bedtime Stories in an effort to bore you to death and put you to sleep, although we apologize if that is the case. As the Yaun's we often get the obligatory "yawwwn" when telling anyone how to pronounce our last name. Thus, since one often yawn's at night, and we read Drew a lot of bedtime stories, we figured the name was quite fitting.
