Day 3 at the beach was a little cool. We packed up and did a little shopping and sightseeing for the first part of the morning. It wasn't much of a success, as Drew was tired of not doing anything, we didn't find anything worth buying, and there wasn't a whole lot going on since it was the morning. We still managed to have a fun time though. We came back and still had a pretty full day at the beach. The picture below of Allie laying in Katie's lap, Katie's feet, and Drew and I playing in the background is the only other picture of the four of us other than the one from our first day there that a lady took on the beach for us. Drew and I were busy building once again. We made downtown Memphis this time, complete with the Pyramid, the "M" bridge(Hernando-Desoto), the Mississippi River, and the FedEx Forum. With all of this playing in the sand we were bound to get some in certain places and it was this day that it really started bothering Drew. He did the sand in the pants dance several times as he is demonstrating below. It didn't stop us from burying each other once again. He also took great pictures. It was like the boy was made to be on the beach. We had a fun time playing football and a little baseball too. We cleaned up and went to dinner at a place called Guy Harvey's which was at The Wharf. Katie and I went there during our previous visit a couple years ago. The food was again delicious, but they were out of a lot of things. Drew and I rode the ferris wheel, but most of the shops had not reopened for the spring and summer season yet. We went to Dairy Queen for some desert before cruising on back home. I think these pictures turned out to be some of the best from our trip!
