Chuck E Cheese!

The weekend after Drew's birthday we had a party for his friends and family at Chuck E. Cheese! Up until now we've had his parties for his friends at home, but now that he's five we let him pick a place to have it. Of course he picked the Cheese. He was so excited for weeks up until the party. He wore his birthday hat that he got at school to take some pictures for us. We picked the early party in hopes that it wouldn't be so packed, which worked out pretty well. We had a third of the party area and our Chuck E Cheese balloon. The kids played games for about an hour before we did pizza, cake, singing, and of course an appearance by Chuck. Drew was all about the mouse- Chuck E Cheese party and Mickey Mouse cake. Drew got a birthday crown and medal from Chuck E and then joined him for a picture. The birthday boy also got to go into the ticket grabber machine, although he got a little scared and had to get out early before grabbing very many tickets. Then we did presents and more games. We all had a great time and Drew got a lot of great presents. He made a lot of great memories with his friends at his first big kid birthday party. Drew got so many tickets he got to get even more presents. Allie got to play some games too and even got a little taste of candy. Her birthday is coming up next.
