Welcome back! It's been awhile since the last post. March was another busy month on the inpatient wards of LeBonheur. And while it wasn't an emotional month and the kids didn't seem as sick, it was still a busy month as far as the numbers go. I did have one Saturday off last month and we took the chance to visit the zoo, as did the rest of the city that day. It was packed and busy, but we still had fun. It was a great day, as a lot of the animals that aren't usually out were up and awake. Except for that tiger below. But the cheetahs, lions, pandas, grizzly bears, and even some dinosaurs were out and about around the zoo. Drew has really gotten into dinosaurs at various times over the last few months as most boys tend to do at his age. I don't think he's ever gotten as excited about them as I was when I was in kindergarten, but I guess there is just cooler stuff out there these days. Although he does love to watch Dino Dan, some show in Nickelodeon where this kid sees imaginary dinosaurs. Anyways, they have dinosaurs at the zoo. And they're awesome. They look life like and they all move and make noise. You can even sit on one and there is another one that shoots water, which Drew is eagerly awaiting in the picture. Katie didn't like that the triceratops had been killed and was being eaten by the towering tyrannosaurus rex, but it was really pretty cool too. Drew got to dig out some dinosaur bones and then it was about time to go. We really haven't been taking as many pictures lately as we should have been, but we're stepping it up now and I'll start having some more material soon.
