Jason's Birthday

Well, it's been three weeks since my last post and I'm behind again. Over a month now. These are from my birthday dinner. We went to Hog & Hominy, a new restaurant in East Memphis with a Southern cuisine mixed some Italian flavor. They've already received accolades from Garden & Gun and other Southern magazines. We all loved the modern Southern setting, the plain glasses, and the cool menus. They're well known for their pizza, so I got a pizza with egg and boudin on it among other things. It was awesome. They had a special menu because we went on a Sunday night, so we didn't get to try their pork rinds, which means we'll have to go back soon. Most everyone got pizza I think. They also had a pretty good beer selection and they have bocce ball on the back porch, but we didn't play. We had a cookie cake of course and then we did presents. It was a fun family event and I was glad that everyone tried something new with me. I can't wait to go back there!
