Drew's Kindergarten Graduation

Somehow Drew has not only started kindergarten, but has finished it and is almost ready to start first grade. I can't believe the year went by so fast. He's learned and developed so much that it's unreal. Kindergarten is not the same as when Katie and I were there. It's not just nap time and playtime anymore. He's already learned to read among a long list of other accomplishments. We're so proud of him and I was so glad that I was able to be off work to attend his graduation ceremony. They had been practicing their skit and songs for some time now. Drew did great. The highlight was a song they had learned about all the bones and parts of the body, complete with funny moves that they had learned in gym class. Then we had a nice reception in the gym and Drew actually willingly posed for pictures! Then we checked Drew out of school and took the kids to the park before Drew enjoyed his special graduation lunch at the establishment of his choice- Gametime! We're so proud of him and we can't wait to see what first grade brings.
