After losing their first three games the Tigers are on a two game winning streak and are perhaps in the midst of turning their season around. Saturday's game against Arkansas State was also a special day for Pouncer's Pals, a club for Memphis Tigers fans under the age of twelve. They got to go down to the field before the game and march around with the band, cheerleaders, Tom the Tiger, and, of course, Pouncer. Drew loves Pouncer, as long as he is a good distance away from us. He also has a Pouncer doll that has to go to all the games with us. He thought it was very cool to see the drummers in the band before the game, and although others have voiced their displeasure on #9 from my preseason list, Drew took a liking to the cheerleaders as well. After that we settled into our seats to see a pretty good game and a Tiger victory against a good team. After the game we went to the fair for the last time and were quite sad to see it in the state that it was in, even though Papa did have fun with Drew at the nasty, dirty petting zoo. Here are a few pictures from our pregame fun from this week and from the tailgating and game last week against Nicholls State first.
