Drew and I went to the zoo today and had a blast. The nice thing about being a member is not feeling that you have to be in a rush to see everything. So we took our time watching the big cats, the monkeys, the pandas, and the sea lions. It's so amazing to look at all the different species and their unique characteristics and think that God must have had so much fun designing them all. Drew has been learning so much lately. He is constantly asking about everyone in the family and where they are at. Drew and Katie have their third "music class" (or Kindermusik) tomorrow, and he has learned that a doorbell says ding-dong, and a hammer goes tap-tap. Last weekend we went to the Cotton Festival in Somerville before going to Papa and Gigi's to watch Memphis lose on Saturday, then to Jackson to hear Uncle Kyle preach on Sunday.
One thing I forgot in my college football list was watching football during the weeknights too. This week we have watched games on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I guess I was just too busy studying the last few years to watch any of these games.
Tuesday morning I had to observe and grade the M2's during their standardized patient exams. It was crazy to think how much I have learned in such a short time. Monday I go to St. Jude where I will spend two weeks before going to Lebonheur for the next two weeks for pediatric urology.
Below are the two Microsoft commercials featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates. Although they have received bad reviews, I have loved them. Of course, I have loved just about anything Seinfeld has done-the show is still watchable no matter how many times I have seen an episode. I think these are hilarious. The second one is a super extended version of the one on TV and is 4 and a half minutes long. The Sony commercials with Peyton Manning and the Chicken are also pretty good too.
Last, the weather has been so nice lately. I am ready for fall to get here soon. I'm also awaiting a Tiger win, and will be there Saturday night once again.
