This last Sunday was my mother's birthday and we all went out to eat at a new place called SkiMo's to celebrate. I had the Mahi Mahi, which was pretty good, but did not have a whole lot of flavor. We also had an appetizer of their version of the Bloomin' Onion that was very disappointing in the amount of onion that we had. Luckily we got to go back to my parents house and enjoy some good ole fashioned chocolate chip cookie cake. Then, last night, Wednesday, Katie, Drew, and I went to the corn maze at the Agricenter with Brad and Sarah. It was a great afternoon and we had a lot of fun wandering around in the corn. Drew was able to say "corn" and "maze" pretty well, but I'm not sure that he actually ever said them both together. It got a little chilly once the sun went down, so we decided to skip the hayride in favor of dinner at the Memphis Pizza Cafe. This is also were Katie and I went once we got back in town Friday night after my exam. I didn't mind going back because they now carry the Ghost River Brewery line of beers, so I was able to get a taste once again. We will go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood tomorrow night, and I don't know what else we will get into. The first few pictures below are from the birthday dinner on Sunday, and the rest are from last night at the Tiger logo shaped corn maze.
