Ducks and Moms

Friday Katie, Drew, and I went downtown to see the famous Peabody Ducks with our friends Ricky, Amy, and Caden. The Honorary Duckmaster was Todd Starnes, a writer and radio host for Fox News. Or at least we were told that; I didn't know who he was, but he is pictured below-I also found out he spoke and signed books at Union that night as well. Drew and Caden had a good time seeing the ducks march down to the fountain and then splash around in the water. Then we went up to the roof to see their house and the river. We finished with lunch across the street at the Kooky Canuck's.









Sunday was of course Mother's Day. Drew and I got Katie a gift card from Gould's so she could create her own spa day. We ate lunch with Katie's family. The first picture is Drew with Katie's uncle, Uncle Charlie. He is in town for Katie's grandmother's birthday, which was Saturday. Drew had a lot of fun playing with Charlie and kept talking about getting to touch his "blue" hair. Katie is also pictured with her sister-in-law, Missy, who is currently 27 weeks pregnant I believe, and then Drew with Katie's brother, Kyle. Then you will see Katie and her aunt, and then four generations of Katie's family with her mom and grandmother. We had dinner with my family and Drew had a lot of wild fun there as well. We didn't get as many posed pictures, but we did manage to get a shot of GiGi as Drew's horse.
