We Beat Peay

The Tigers actually won a game a few weeks back and we were all there to witness it. That's right, the University of Memphis Tigers. Of course it was the Austin Peay State University Governors that we beat, and it was only a 27-6 victory, but none of that matters. A win is a win for these Tigers, even when it's against an FCS foe rather than the big boys. We spent all day out at Tobey Field tailgating before the game. Drew got to go out on the field before the game to take a lap, getting to watch the team run out of the tunnel and to hear the national anthem. Even Allie had fun at this game. We missed the game the week after when they lost to SMU due to one of Drew's soccer games. The last two games have been away, but we'll be back out there this weekend for the match up against East Carolina. Hopefully the Tigers can keep it close, which would be within about 3 touchdowns.
