Arlington Christmas Parade

Here are the pictures from the yearly Arlington Christmas Parade, which apparently is going to be on SEC Championship Gameday from now on also. I think this was the first big event where I used my new camera if you happen to notice that the pictures look better. No more cell phone picture updates, although the iPhone camera is really goo actually. That's what led me to get a digital SLR instead of a point and shoot. I love the convenience of a point and shoot- it fits in my pocket, which means I can use it quicker and take it to more places more easily. But now my iPhone pretty much functions as that. So I took my birthday and graduation present and combined it into a Cannon Rebel EOS T3 bundle that I absolutely love. Some of these turned out really good I thought. We saw local politicians, churches, scout troops, bands, and of course Santa march and ride through the streets of Arlington and we had a great time.
