Redbirds Opening Night

The Redbirds actual Opening Night was rained out, so when we went a couple of Friday's ago we were treated to an Opening Night doubleheader. It was UTHSC night and we got there early to to enjoy the Rendezvous buffet, party in the plaza, and got a magnet schedule. There were plenty of BBQ nachos, hot dogs, and watermelon. The doubleheader was two seven inning games, so we were treated to the rare fifth inning stretch. The highlight was getting to see David Freese smack a 2 RBI ground rule double with the bases loaded. The Redbirds won the first game and we left the second game a little early, which they eventually lost. We had a blast and got some fun pictures.
