Drew's Rainy Baseball Season

This baseball season has been most notable for rain so far this year. Drew is playing one last year of t-ball/coach pitch in Arlington again. He is once again on the Yankees with the same coaches he had last year. This year he's number 7 and we've been teaching him about Mickey Mantle instead of Joe DiMaggio. He really continues to improve with everything- hitting, throwing, and catching. He's spent most of the time playing third base, where he is a vacuum and he's really getting to where he can make a good throw to first. When we hit out in the yard I'm having to back up for my own safety these days. The backyard won't contain him for much longer. The first picture below is from his first game of the season. The next two are from the Opening Day ceremony that they had a couple weeks ago at the start of the season. The rest are from a couple of his early games. His last 4 have been rained out so who knows when I'll have some to post again, but I'm sure I'll have a follow up post for the rest of the season later.
