Tiger Fan Day!

Ahoy mateys! Our son Drew, the pirate, Katie and I, and her parents enjoyed the official beginning of football season today. We went out to the Tiger Fan Fest to meet the players, coach, and of course Pouncer. Unfortunately, Drew was still sleepy and did not do very well on all the things we have been practicing for weeks now. He has been saying "Coach" all the time these days in anticipation of seeing Tommy West, but of course he wouldn't say it once when we were actually next to him. Next, he wouldn't say "Duke" while we got wide receiver Duke Calhoun's autograph. At least he was able to still say "Tigers" and "football." But we all had a blast, especially when Drew got to meet the cheerleaders and felt like the big man on campus. And we did not embarass him by letting him out of the car with his broken sunglasses, but it did make for a great picture. Afterwards we went to Central BBQ and Drew ate very well, especially his pickle if you can still see it in his hand. Only one more week until football season. GO TIGERS!! BEAT OLE MISS!
