Lunch with Papa

Katie and I were both off work Friday, so we had a fun day hanging out with Drew. We went to visit my father, who Drew calls Papa, at his somewhat new job as City Administrator out in Somerville, TN. Drew got to play at Papa's desk and we ate at the Main Street Eatery, which had excellent chicken salad sandwiches. Best of all though, Drew got to see the town fire trucks. He has loved all things to do with trucks for a while now, calling everything on the road a truck, and has recently been able to say fire truck too. The first picture of Drew in his carseat is his new pose for the camera. As soon as he sees the camera come out he does this big smile and closes his eyes. We also bought Drew a potty Friday to start getting him used to the idea of having his own around. We went to the pool at Aunt Binky's in the afternoon to finish off a great day of family fun.
