Drew has slowly been making his way to visit all of the Santa's around town this Christmas season. We started at the beginning of the month with Bass Pro Shop and their Redneck Christmas Wonderland. Even the Santa there looked pretty redneck. They had a lot of cool stuff for little kids and big kids. We drove some remote control trucks, watched the Christmas train, and shot guns. Drew has been saying for some time now that what he wants for Christmas is the truck, horse trailer, horses, and the peoples. What he means when he says this is these toy trucks that haul boats, horses, etc, from the Bass Pro Shop, so he was very excited to see it and ask Santa to bring it to him. The second visit to Santa was at the Enchanted Forest at the Pink Palace last week. LeBonheur had a special event and reception for doctors and their families. Drew got to be the cool guy and get his picture with Santa wearing sunglasses. After Santa and dinner we watched an IMAX movie called Santa vs. The Snowmen that Drew laughed at the entire time. He did so good he might be ready for a real movie sometime soon. The last Santa visit was this last weekend at the Zoo Lights. It was the best Santa by far. We got to see the zoo all lit up and they had a lot of little stations set up all over the zoo with activities for the kids, a lot like the Zoo Boo. At the Pink Palace and at the Zoo we met up with one of my fellow interns and his family. They have an eight year old boy that Drew loves to hang out with, and luckily their son does really well with Drew. All I know is that my Santa picture fund is exhausted for this holiday season.
