Introducing Allison Elizabeth Yaun, born at 7:54 AM this morning weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Mother and baby are both doing well this evening. Daddy is exhausted. I don't have much more to say right now than that she is beautiful and perfect. She is bigger than Drew was as a newborn and has a lot more hair, which goes every which way too. We named her Allison, which is my sister's middle name, and plan to call her Allie. Elizabeth is Katie's middle name. We had been thinking about three or four names, but narrowed it down to a couple this morning. Katie said that she thought about Allison Elizabeth as she heard the baby cry at birth and we decided that was the name. Daddy was just happy to hear the cry at the perineum, the best sound in the world as all of who have been down on deliveries know. Drew was very excited to meet his baby sister, although he developed a bit of a cold through the day and had to have his access somewhat limited. He did actually call her Allie rather than Kacie as he had said he was going to. This might have been because he told us he thought that the doctor named her. He did get to hold her briefly, but there will be better pictures of that another day I'm sure. He did very well and was definitely a proud big brother. It is still setting in that we have another child, now two overall, and a baby girl at that. I have to be getting to bed now. Here is the day in pictures. Thank you for all the well wishes, texts, calls, and visits. We know that she is truly loved.
