Bat and Mouse Halloween

Just now getting to Halloween, but it was a fun night for the little kids and the big kids. Drew and Uncle Brad carved our pumpkin as an Angry Bird while Dad was an absent father at work the weekend before Halloween. If you remember back a few months Drew had a superhero birthday party this year and he dressed up as Batman. He loves his Batman costume and uses it often around the house. However, he also got a Mickey Mouse costume to wear to Walt Disney World last month. Batman costume plus Mickey Mouse costume equals conflict. The reason for the conflict is that Drew had already said he wanted to be Batman for Halloween and so we bought Allie a pink Batgirl costume so that they would match. Drew had other plans in mind once Halloween was actually upon us. He insisted on going as Mickey Mouse, leaving Allie all alone as a poor pink Batgirl for her first Halloween. It wasn't that bad of course because she was still the cutest Batgirl ever. I took Allie up to a few houses to get candy, while Drew ended up touring about half the neighborhood. We got some good pictures with them and the pumpkin, and then Drew changed into his Batman costume once we got back for some pictures. We still have plenty of candy available if anyone needs more.
