Soccer Cup

Drew finished up his soccer season a couple weeks ago. He had a great season, scored at least one goal, played great defense, and had a lot of fun. It was great getting to watch him play and getting to know some new parents. Although they don't really keep score, I don't think his team won a whole lot of their games. However, Drew is under the impression that the last game of the season is the championship game no matter how well or how poorly your team has done for the season. Since they won the last game Drew will proudly tell you that his team won the championship game. They finished up with a team party at Cici's Pizza where he got a golden soccer trophy complete with a little soccer ball to fit in it. They have spring soccer, but we'll probably sit that out to avoid any conflicts with t-ball. I'm sure Drew will be lacing it up again next fall for another season though, and I know we'll have plenty of fun out in the backyard in the meantime.
