Pre-Christmas Family Gathering

The Yaun-Hopper Christmas Family Gathering has become the must attend event of the season. The 3rd Annual installment was held once again on the traditional December 23rd date to kick off the Christmas festivities. I was off work and Katie and I spent the day getting the house ready. Drew and I got Katie some flowers for Christmas to decorate the house, while Katie did the rest. The first couple pictures are just around the house. Katie did a great job decorating everything and cooking up some great food as well. Drew and Katie made their traditional sugar cookies with gobs of delicious icing on the top. We had both sides of our family over for coffee, hot chocolate, soups, and desserts. Drew was a great host, spending time with everyone around the house. Allie was in to everything. She and her cousin Mary were dressed in matching outfits, but it was very difficult to get a picture of both of them looking at the camera. It was a great time had by all who attended. More on the rest of our Christmas activities is forthcoming.
