Our second full day at Orange Beach was all about the beach. We tried out the ocean and played in the sand. It was a little cool at first, but was pretty nice by the end of the day. We spent some time in the pool and then got cleaned up for dinner. It was that night that we took the ill fated trip to Lulu's. I had Mahi Mahi tacos, which were honestly a little bland, although they usually have very good food. Then we went outside to play some volleyball and the rest is history.
On another note, today (jumping ahead to real time now) was a great day. Drew had a t-ball game this morning. He hit the ball well and played great in the field. I worked in the yard most of the rest of the afternoon and I happen to think it looks pretty good. Of course, the Grizz had to mess things up and blow another 4th quarter lead. There was the Derby, which was pretty exciting. And then we went to Arlington Relay for Life. It's always a special night, but tonight was special because it was my first time to go to one with Allie. She wanted to walk around and make laps with everyone. Drew on the other hand was having his own personal dance party. It's still amazing to think not only I am alive, but that I've been able to have two such beautiful children. Katie and I ended the night on the patio looking up at the moon. It's a wonderful life!
