First Day of School

Drew had his first day of Kindergarten on Monday! Well, actually he went for a "preview day" last week, but Monday was his first real day. He did great and has really been loving school so far- most of the time. He's gone to the library and checked out two books. His favorite parts of the day seem to be lunch and recess. He's even learned how to sight read a couple of words already. We love his teacher and think that he will have a great year! I was able to go with Katie to take him the first day. I think we held it together pretty well. It's a big adjustment at night with focusing on his day, what he learned, and trying to get him to bed on time. I know it's been a big adjustment for Katie during the day too. We just hope he grows to love school as much as we did- well at least as much as I did.
