Back to OBA, Part 3

One last post from the beach. These are all pictures from my phone. I'll finish up with the last day of our trip. We loaded up the car without losing anyone this time. I think Drew gradually got comfortable being on the elevator so that maybe he's not scared of them anymore. We stopped by the Annual National Shrimp Festival on our way out of Gulf Shores. We got some excellent Mahi Mahi, fish tacos, and the best chicken on a stick ever. No, we did not actually eat any shrimp. We heard some music and walked around some of the vendors before we got on the road. We made it to Tupelo before mom and dad declared that we had to have a break and we decided to stop there for dinner. We went to this cool little place called Lost Pizza Company where we had some delicious pizza and a break from the car. What I haven't mentioned so far is how Allie had decided to pitch an absolute fit for the first ten minutes of every dinner we ate. They are usually excellent on car rides too, but for some reason everyone had grown restless that night. We eventually made it back home with everyone falling fast asleep after dinner, except dad of course. We had a great time together as a family, got to relax, and hopefully prepared for Dad's board exam. More of our crazy month of October to come.
