Grizzlies Rolling

This was actually a post I had prepared sometime back around December, fresh off of the Grizzlies 12-2 start to the season. Then they kind of cooled off and I never really got around to actually typing it up and posting it. I think all of these pictures may be from the Lakers game that Drew and I went to together, which the Grizzlies won. However, I thought that given their recent run and especially with the crazy win last night that it was finally time for this post. I was lucky enough to get to go last night to see the Grizzlies defeat the Thunder in overtime in what I think was the best regular season game I have ever been to. And even though it was still in the regular season it definitely had a playoff atmosphere and was probably better than even a few playoff games I've been to. It reminded me of the triple overtime thriller from a couple of years ago with the Thunder, which I was also at. The Grizz were down by 6 with about a minute left and I really thought it was over. A fair number of people actually left. I even thought that Jerryd Bayless' 3 pointer at the end of regulation to tie the game was really a 2 pointer and that his foot was on the line. And then I couldn't believe when Marc Gasol tapped in the game winner in OT. It was a great, crazy game!
