Belize was our next stop- it was un-Belize-able! Ok, last time with that joke. We docked in Belize City and took about a 45 minutes bus ride to the Bacab Jungle Park, or something like that, where we kayaked through the jungle. It was pretty cool, although Katie and I had a little trouble coordinating our paddling. It was fine, we knew there was no way it could go smoothly with the two of us. We may have slowed down the group a little bit as we banged from one side of the river to the other, hitting tree limbs both ways. We finally made it into a clearing where it was much easier. We didn't get to see a whole lot of wildlife, but we did have some bats fly right over us. I'm still debating as to whether or not we need rabies prophylaxis. After the kayaking adventure we had lunch and then got to relax at the pool, which also had a pretty cool waterslide. Here are some of the pictures below. The first is Belize City. The next one is where we loaded onto the kayak. The last three are Instagram shots that I didn't want to forget to post. One from our paddle boarding obviously, the next from dinner one night, and the third is another shot in Belize. Next up is Honduras.
