Adam Sandler, How Dare Thee

So it's come to this? My childhood comedy hero from classic films like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, and countless others has shamelessly stolen the name of my blog for his new movie. The downward spiral probably began somewhere around Little Nicky or Mr. Deeds and is now complete, apparently. The movie actually sounds like it might not be all that bad. Here is the basic story:

Bedtime Stories is an adventure comedy starring Adam Sandler as Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. When he tries to help his family by telling one outlandish tale after another, it's the kids unexpected contributions that turn all of their lives upside down. The cast includes Adam Sandler, Keri Russell, and Courteney Cox.

Here is the trailer:

I guess I can forgive you Adam, but in return I expect at least one movie that returns to the good ole days of Billy Madison, and less of the Click and Reign Over Me types. You need to unleash that comedic genius that is built on the sophomoric humor that I got to know and love so many years ago. Stop looking at me swan!
