All Aboard: The Christmas Morn Express

This year Santa brought Drew a big wooden train table. I had a lot of fun "helping" Santa put it together and listening to Christmas music. We had kind of coached Drew to say "train" when people asked him what he want Santa to bring him, and he was not disappointed. While still a little groggy, he ran to it and said "Ooooooh, train!" And that was about the last we have seen of him since then. I think he probably sneaks out of his crib at night to play with it. It was quite difficult to get him to look at any other presents or convince him to leave the house. He loves the thing, and I must admit that I do as well, it is pretty cool. It is a little bigger than we had anticipated, and we are not quite sure if there is really enough room for it to fit in his room, so it may stay in the den for a while. But he finally moved on long enough to open his other presents, which included a lot of Kindermusic instruments that he loves to use to make music. Katie and I opened our presents next. That is me opening up my North Face messenger bag that Katie got me. She is excited about the ring with the "K" on it that I got her from one of the boutiques on the square here in Arlington. And she wouldn't let me put up the picture of her excitement of the Emily Post etiquette book from 1947 that I got her from the antique store. As you can see Drew continued to play with his train until it was time to go back over to the Hopper's for Christmas breakfast. Drew hasn't quite got the idea of fishing down just yet, although he was eager to help Pawpaw use his new net. From there we went over to my parents house, which shall come in the next installment of pictures.

cute pics. I want to see the Emily Post picture:) I may of had the same look, but mine would been in the discovery of all of the rules I'm breaking. I think Emily Post and the Proverbs 31 woman will be sitting at the same table in heaven.
