Famous Family

Yesterday morning the citizens of East Shelby County awoke to a wonderful treat as they opened up their copy of the Commercial Appeal- a picture of our family perusing the baked goods at the local Arlington Farmer's Market. We were there a couple of weeks ago and had our picture taken for the Memphis newspaper for a section called My Life where they highlight happenings in the community. Unfortunately, the CA has started to deliver different newspapers to different parts of town, so only some parts of the greater Memphis area got to start their day with such joy. We love the Farmer's Market and all the shops on the Square, especially the SY Wilson Antique Store, because it is so fun to look at all the things they have. Here is the article and our picture. Doesn't my wife look hot!

Arlington Decked Out
Crafts and high spirits lure visitors

Special to My Life
IT WAS BEGINNING to look a lot like Christmas in Arlington during the Holiday Craft Market and Open Air Market in Historical Depot Square on Nov. 28-29 — with craft vendors and local farmers displaying their crafts and goods.

Crafts included pottery, handmade jewelry, handbags, homemade candles, and handmade cards and gift bags, etc. The Farmer’s Market included delicious homemade breads and baked goods, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

Santa Claus made a special appearance at S.Y. Wilson Co., to greet guests and to begin his Christmas list for the good little boys and girls of Arlington. Santa will continue to visit S.Y. Wilson’s throughout the holidays.

Jason Yaun, his son Drew, 2, and wife Katie check out the baked goods at the farmers market portion of the holiday crafts fair.
