Spring Game, Etc.

  • I went fishing Thursday morning at Reelfoot Lake with my father-in-law and brother-in-law. I didn't catch anything. It was pretty cold. At least the lake was beautiful and I got to see a bald eagle.
  • Katie had to work this Friday, so I took Drew to his Kindermusik class. We had a blast and Drew did great as usual. Afterward we went and ate lunch at McDonald's and got some flowers for Katie.
  • Saturday morning we dodged the rain long enough to go out to the Collierville Square to get Drew's two year old pictures taken. One of Katie's sororiety sisters from Union has her own photography business and did a great job. You can probably check them out later this week at her website, http://elizabethwiggsphotography.blogspot.com/. Drew loved seeing the "big trains" and running along the train tracks out there, at least until a train came by and then he got a little scared.
  • Katie had a baby shower yesterday at our house, so Drew and I went to the Memphis Spring Football Game to check out this year's team. Once again Pouncer was nowhere to be found. But Drew enjoyed getting to walk through the big tiger head that the players walk out of onto the field before the games. The defense looked very improved, but the offense still seems to have a long way to go.

  • Katie rearranged her china cabinet in anticipation of her party and I thought I would share a picture of it that she took.

I meant to mention it to Katie at the shower, but we have almost the same china... Great Minds!
