Dr. Jason A. Yaun, MD

Friday was a pretty big day. The morning started bright and early with the Dean's Convocation for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. Myself and about 140 other soon to be doctors were honored and hooded at our own ceremony before the regular graduation. Our class president and a professor gave great talks, which were both funny and meaningful.

Then we headed out to lunch at Alfred's with everyone. Lunch was a difficult decision and I was being pretty difficult about picking a place to go, but everyone was so pleased with my choice. We sat outside on the upstairs patio and it was great weather and everyone really enjoyed their food.

Then it was time for the big graduation at the FedEx Forum, with the entire University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Although the dentites got a little rowdy, it was a pretty nice and fairly quick ceremony. Katie and I headed home for a little rest before going out with my class again that night-pictures of that to come.

Thanks to all my friends and family who have supported me and my family, the past four years and beyond. It has been a difficult road, but well worth it. I couldn't have done it without Katie, Drew, my parents, and everyone else.

Lots of pictures. Enjoy.
