I apologize for the number of pictures, but it was a big day. We headed out to Grant's Farm for a repeat of last year's visit. That was about the only thing we had time to do during the trip last year other than go to the baseball game. It was just as good this year. We saw the Clydesdales and a got a lot of good pictures of them. Then we toured the grounds and saw all the animals. After that we moved along to the carousel and the goats. Drew had a lot better luck feeding them this year, since last year I think he got scared and handed both milk bottles to me. We each fed one successfully this time. I was able to make mine stand up and dance for his milk. Then Drew enjoyed a snow cone which he would later dub the best part of the trip. We enjoyed lunch and a couple complimentary Budweiser products before it was all over. Drew had some money to spend on the trip and again elected to spend it on a Civil War play set, just as he did last year. We stopped by Ted Drewe's to enjoy some famous concretes on the way back to the hotel to rest up for the game.
It was Allie's first Cardinal's game and Drew's second. We all had a blast. We looked around a little before the game, but went inside pretty quickly and got settled in our seats to take some pics. The game was phenomenal. Albert hit a homer in his first at bat and ultimately went 5 for 5 in a game that I was proud to be at with my son to witness such greatness. He might not remember it that well, but I will never forget. The Cardinals won and hit a couple other home runs, all of which brought fireworks that Drew loved. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Thanks Albert. That's a winner!

All he would tell me about vacation was that he saw Albert hit 2 home runs!
