Bullies 59; Tigers 14

Really, what is there to say at this point. It was a Thursday night game, so we weren't able to go full force with the tailgating. Only a little pizza before walking to the game. I had to come straight from work, but at least I was able to make it. We had a good time for a little while. It was a pretty big let down for Allie's first football game. You could see the disappointment in her little eyes. Eventually she just fell asleep. Not Drew. He was once again the biggest fan in the stadium. While most of us had given up a couple of minutes into the first quarter, Drew continued to stand, cheer, and wave his pom pom enthusiastically well into the 3rd quarter. We left around the beginning of the 4th quarter because it was getting late and frankly, we had had enough. What happened in Jonesboro on Saturday was even worse. At least we didn't waste our time driving there. Unfortunately, we did waster our time watching it on the computer. Drew watched most of it with me and it was so sad because I think he actually realized for the first time in his life that the football Tigers are indeed terribly awful. I guess that is the one downside to the fact that he is actually old enough to learn a lot about the game this year. I doubt it will dampen his enthusiasm this Saturday though. And surely we can beat Austin Peay. But I really don't know.

We still had fun no matter the score! Drew was the biggest and best Tigear Fan in the stadium.
