Eight Month Allie

Allie turned 8 months old earlier this week. I realize I mostly give updates on Drew because he's doing so much these days, but so is Allie. First of all she has become a lot more mobile. She has started crawling and can stand up holding on to something if you get her started. She has taken off with her feedings too. She's gone through rice cereal and then all the vegetables and is currently plowing her way into fruits. She does well with the spoon for the most part. She is still the happiest and calmest baby we have ever known. She hardly ever cries and sleeps through night. She's very vocal too. She's been saying Dada for while and has been throwing in a few Mama's these days too. Her other favorite sound is a "hi." She likes to razz with her tongue and make noise with her lips too. The last couple weeks she has been just fascinated with her tongue, sticking it out as far as she can and moving it all around. She loves football, the Tigers, and watching games with her Daddy. Drew is still a great big brother who loves his little sister. The greatest thing in the world is to hear the two of them laughing at each other. Drew loves to give hugs and get her tickling her to get her laughing. I'll try to start being better about giving Allie her own updates in the future. Here's some recent pictures.
