Yes, the conference tournaments are beginning and the brackets will be announced this weekend, but I am about to begin a March Madness of my own. The next two weeks will be filled with life altering activities. We start off with a little fun this Thursday seeing Sister Hazel at the new venue in Memphis known as Minglewood Hall. They have been mine and Katie's favorite band for a while now and we are excited to see them as well as the brand new Minglewood. The next day will begin wedding activities for my little sister's wedding. The guys will play golf Friday if the weather permits, tuxes must be picked up, and of course the rehearsal dinner will be that night. It is at the Hunt Phelan Inn and I have never eaten there so I can't wait. The wedding itself will be the next day with the ceremony and the reception at the Cadre Building downtown. We will watch/try to attend the Tigers in the C-USA Championship game that morning. I expect the wedding celebration to go well into the night and spill out to Beale Street a little later maybe. After a couple days off my medical school class will have its annual Crawfish Boil next Tuesday night. Then on Thursday we will head back to the Cadre Building for all the Match Day festivities and the Great Revelation. That night the party continues at the High Point Pinch. To cap it all off we will celebrate at "Med School Prom" that Saturday night at the annual dance and dinner known as Caduceus Ball down at the Peabody. Hopefully we will survive in one piece and with our sanity intact.
