One Week Status Post Snow

• Last week I left the from the FedEx Forum after the Tigers game to find it sleeting very hard outside. This Saturday on the way out of the Forum I was greeted by the sun and temperatures in the mid seventies. That's just a typical week in Memphis these days.

• Interestingly the pansies we planted last fall not only survived the snowstorm last week, I think they look the best they ever have. (See below)
  

• Today was Senior Day for the Tigers. This has been a very special group. Two more wins and the trio of Antonio Anderson, Robert Dozier, and Chance McGrady will become the winningest players in NCAA history.

• After Bhan Thai the other night we met up with some other M4's for the weekly trivia game at TJ Mulligans. I love trivia. We won first place and got $50 in free beer for the night. I mean where else are you cool for being smart and what better way to use your knowledge than for free beer?

• Katie wanted me to be sure to inform the world that she does have table manners. She was afraid the last post would make everyone think she was just a bumpkin.
  

• I have been on Genetics for the past week and will be doing that again this next week as well. It has been pretty fascinating. There are so many syndromes and other things out there that sometimes the attending has no idea until they look it up. It's pretty crazy what can happen when just one gene is missing, out of place, or duplicated.

• Wicked Witch beware. There is a new witch in Drew's life. Our new favorite is the "Dog Witch," which is his name for Cruella da Ville from 101 Dalmatians.

• I am so glad that golf is back into season now. There is nothing better than falling asleep on a Sunday afternoon with the golf tournament on in the background. Hopefully I wake up in time to catch the end.
